Wait, I get it. Wait. Guys: Blaine actually sends a really bad message to gay people. No, wait—just listen, okay, I totally get it now.
So, Blaine is a boy who was gay-bashed at his old school, right? But he’s like a horrible role model. He reaches out to another boy who is dealing with bullying and gives him advice he wishes he had heard when he was going through something similar. He then goes to said boy’s school to offer the same support to the bully when he discovers the bully is closeted (the only person to have ever done so concerning that bully), and later offers support via a song about how he and his boyfriend accept another outed friend of theirs, even though said outed friend has been a complete bitch to him for most of the year. He sings blatant love songs to boys in public, holds his boyfriend’s hand in public, leaves a school with a zero-tolerance bullying policy to attend his boyfriend’s homophobic school, and goes to prom with his boyfriend even though he is still suffering some form of PTSD regarding the previously-mentioned gay-bashing that happened at his old school’s dance. He has anger issues stemming from his trauma that he’s attempting to deal with in a healthy and constructive way via boxing and singing, and he’s constantly seeing the good in others and advocating equality, teamwork, and kindness in everything he’s involved in despite everything he’s been through.
I don’t know about you, but I don’t want my kids watching that shit.
Also, he’s totally taking over New Directions and not letting anyone sing. Proof: since he’s joined the glee club at McKinley High, all of the competition songs have featured most if not all of the club’s voices. God, what a song-hog.
By the way, he’s a horrible boyfriend to Kurt. He talks about sex frankly and honestly, and tells Kurt he loves him often enough that Kurt knows it implicitly as truth—like, the sky is blue, and Blaine loves him, how are you doing today? Also, he jumped in front of a slushie aimed at Kurt and almost lost his eye for him. And then screamed about it and laid in bed all throughout Valentine’s Day recovering from his surgery instead of sending Kurt little cards and stalking him through the halls in a giant gorilla suit. He’s always supporting Kurt’s dreams and telling him never to give up. Are you listening to this shit? He’s such a jackass.
And he’s just an all-around bad person. He’s really open-minded about sexuality and gender roles and doesn’t give a fuck about what other people think about his fashion choices. He’s unapologetically himself and is only looking for acceptance of that. …And he’s most looking forward to marriage equality in all fifty states? Are you fucking kidding me? He’s just generally a douchebag and a total jerk.
Seriously, why are you all fans of him? He has no character development and gives off such a bad message to teenagers today. Get him off the air!

I’m having trouble determining if this guy is just a flat out dumbass or if he is being incredibly sarcastic. I’m...
